I love the selective focus and the placement of the in-focus flower just off center in the frame. The backlit fine filaments on the sides of the bloom are a very nice touch. Beautiful.
U have a great blog going here...went through all ur archived collection..especially loved the Maine collection and people photography.....when were u in Lucknow? I am curious coz thats where I come from in India...:)
@Russ: Thanks for visiting my blog. I am glad you liked it. Last weekend i visited few farms near DC area. It was beautiful weather with heavenly sunshine...clicked couple of shots on that road.. :)
@Moi: Welcome to this part of the world and thanks for linking me...:) I am pleased that you loved Maine collection...it was really a lifetime experience! Yahh..that was our study tour when we visited Lucknow, almost 8 yrs back now...Romi Darwaja, Bada Imambara, market place...memories are still fresh in mind. Lucky u are...:)
it's a pleasure linking ur blog.....i was thrilled to see eclectic collection ...I wud luv to visit New England region sometime ..maybe when i have more money on hands...and Maine sure is high on my list. I wish I cud capture Lucknow like u talk about it ..I have never lived there....my parents come from there .....and hey loved ur dumplings and catch me pics so much...:)
Thanks for including a link to my blog. I appreciate it and consider it a great compliment. I used to live outside of DC many years ago (Northern VA) and my wife went to school near Baltimore, so I know the region very well. The horse farms there and outside of DC are beautiful. I recently sold a landscape photo that I made at Loch Raven when I lived there. Aww, the memories.
