The Legends

I don’t think this most esteemed legendary musician needs any kind of introduction here.
Ravi Shankar, the master sitarist and his daughter Anoushka Shankar, the sound of modern era, performed in Baltimore few days back. I was fortunate to attend this program and I should say that it was one of the best evenings of my life.

Photography was not allowed during the performance, so I took few shots after the session. Hope you all love it.

i haven't heard much of his music but whatever little i have has made me a huge fan of his ...have u heard the background score that he gave for ray's Pather Panchali or other of ray's works???? he's simply brilliant .....mere background score in pather panchali evokes tears in my eyes ...one of the most beautiful movies i have ever seen ...and what a coincidence..i came her from a blog which was showcasing Norah Jone's song "Sunrise"
have a look
